Advanced Poker Strategies: The Continuation Bet
In poker you won’t win only if you only bet when you have good hands. It is impossible, because in the long term you will not have enough. But this doesn’t mean you have to bluff all the time either. Probably the opponent has the A, which will prevent him from making a big bet, since the light bet preflop reveals that the A is not very well accompanied or that he has a pair of face cards without A.
